Haiti – Society : Projects for disabled

The Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (SEIPH), was created on May 17, 2007 through the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour (MAST) and by presidential decree. Its mission: the integration of disabled people in all spheres of social life. Since the earthquake, the SEIPH works with many partners in the implementation of several projects that benefit disabled Haitians.

Current project:
* Haitian-Brazilian Institute of Rehabilitation
* Paratransit
* Strengthening of the policy and institutional capacity of the government agents
* National Education Plan Massive for the persons with disabilities
