WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senator John Kerry (D-Mass.) co-sponsored legislation to assess progress on all post-earthquake humanitarian, reconstruction and development efforts in Haiti. The Assessing Progress in Haiti Act would hold U.S. agencies accountable for the aid they send to Haiti and encourage direct consultation with the Haitian government, Diaspora, grassroots and civil society groups.
