Mission of Hope International

A weekly update from Grand Goave.

What fun to see the children in action at the Mission of Hope Computer Club. And what a clever photo composition in black & white…with added color!

We’re so grateful to Child in Hand for sending Junior and Elisabeth to help our computer club for two days every week!

Cheno could be leading a future generation!

This week’s update also gives a very thoughtful article on transitional shelters and permanent homes. The photographs indeed help to visualize the top issues of heat and security of the shelters.

“It’s been over three years since the earthquake.  There are still hundreds of thousands of people without a real home to live in…”

“Building transitional shelters was a blessing to thousands of people.  Now it’s time to take the next step and build real homes for our neighbors, starting with the most vulnerable people…” Read about the building of  “Syliane’s House” – a very hopeful beginning!
